Doreen Power Generations and Systems Limited: Project Coordinator [October, 2011-Present]

Responsibilities:

·               Project Coordination: Responsible for successful co-ordinations and implementations of different projects in DPGSL(Doreen Power Generations and Systems Limited) and its associated concerned organizations including Doreen Garments Ltd., Doreen Apparels Ltd., Doreen Washing Ltd. and Nabi Textiles Ltd. Hand on experiences on successful Projects executions within specific Project deadlines while maintaining efficient co-ordination with different stake holders of the organizations. Responsible for Project Cost Management, Project Time Management, Project Schedule, Financial Analyses, etc.

·               Team Lead: Team Lead experiences in the organization for different projects (such as: Garments 5-line Implementation including wet and dry process Washing Machinery, 3-Line Extension in Garments, etc). Experiences include both technical and managerial roles as Project Coordinator.

·               Electro-Mechanical Expertise: Designing and Implementing MV (11KV) to LV (415V) Transformers including HT panel, LT panel and PFI panel according to Load Distribution of the different plants (Garments 5 Line Sewing Machinery and Washing Machinery, 3 Line Extension, etc.), Cable Scheduling and Selections, Circuit-Breaker Selections, MDB and SDB board Designing, Load Management, Single Line Diagram, Angle bar- Flat bar estimation and other Electro-mechanical jobs.

·               Power Plant Engineering Expertise: Strong and solid background of overall Power Plant Engineering ranging from implementation, operation and maintenance of gas fired and oil fired engines, alternators, pneumatic control systems, exhaust gas boilers, co-generation systems, sub-station systems, high voltage, medium voltage and low voltage distribution systems, evacuation line, generators, motors and other associated components.

·               Comparative Analyses: Performed comparative studies among different engines, alternators, sub-station systems and other related power plant engineering and prepared comparative statements which include different SFCs (Specific fuel consumptions), Heat Rates, Flexibilities, etc.        

 

Delta Telecommunication Limited: CEO [January, 2010-September, 2011]

Responsibilities:

·               Country Unit CEO: Successfully working as Chief Executive Officer for the company since January, 2010. Involved in RF Survey and Installation, DT and swaps projects, RF planning, optimization and tuning projects, LOS survey, Maintenance and Civil works etc. with different leading vendors and operators in Bangladesh. Presently seven projects are running with Huawei Technologies of Banagladesh Limited (OTB swap project), Ericsson Bangladesh Limited (Airtel Installation project), GrameenPhone Ltimited (GP Cluster Optimization project), Robi (Robi DT project and Robi Maintenance project), ZTE (Banglalion RF Optimization and Banglalion Installation project).    

·               Team Lead: Leading the country unit which comprises of around 60 permanent employees and more than 30 temporary employees. Reporting responsible for all the departments including Technical(RF, Installation, Maintenance, Civil, etc), Accounting and Finance, Business Development, and HR and Administration.

·               Overall Project Planning: Worked as overall project planner from Quotation submission to the final billing of a project. Performed resources, services and equipment budgeting and arrangements, Resources planning and assignments, Quotation calculations, Scope of work supervision, Bilateral agreements preparation, Quality assurance, Inventory management and so on.

·               Business Development: Regular correspondence with different customers and vendors for prospective and ongoing projects. Organizing and attending meetings with customers on different issues such as project scopes, resources’ competence, project cost, etc at regular intervals.

·               Accounting and Finance: Supervised Bills and Requisitions at different project account, Cash and Balance checking, Tax submission, etc. Promoted bill collections from customers at regular intervals.

·               HR and Administration: Actively participated in resources recruitment procedure, candidate selection, negotiation with potential resources, etc. Responsible for decision making in different administrative events.  

 

Ericsson Vietnam Company Limited: RF Team Lead [March, 2009-December, 2009]

Responsibilities:

·               Team Lead: Lead a team comprising of more than 20 people including both local and foreign experts. Coordinating, assigning tasks, organizing meetings, resources planning and so on.  

·               Drive Test Analyses: Coverage, Quality, Drop Call, Handover failure, Overshoot, Swap Sectors, Azimuth Change, Co-channel and adjacent channel interference, Power control parameters, etc checking and analyzing using TEMS Investigation 9.1, Mapinfo 9.5, MCOM 5.7 and also from CDD and MO data.

·               KPI Analyses and Report Preparation: CSSR, SDCCH Drop and various Drop Reasons, SDCCH Congestion, TNDROP, TCASSALL, HOSR, TCH Drop and various Drop Reasons (Low SS, Bad Quality, Suddenly Lost Connection, Excessive TA), etc Analyses and Report preparation per Cell and BSC basis. Finding the root cause of KPI degradation and recommendation to improve the KPIs. New Template generation and data extraction in Business Object. Experience includes OSS Radio Network Optimization Tools including MRR, FAS, NCS, etc.

·               Alarm and TRX Block Report: preparing daily alarm report from MO Dumps using Exert 5.0.1.7 and sorting out according to the importance and sending it out to the sub-contractors.

·               TSV (Technical Site Verification): Site verification from Candidate Information Report (CIR) using Mapinfo, Google Earth and TCPU software. Planning the azimuth, tilt (electrical and mechanical), height etc. from the raw data provided by survey people. Coverage verification using TCPU.

·               TSS (Technical Site Survey): Reviewing TSV result and preparing schedule for field engineers. Remote support for field engineers. TSSR report preparation and maintaining the database.

 

LM Ericsson Bangladesh Limited: Radio Network Design / Optimization Engineer [May, 2007-Feb, 2009]

Responsibilities:

·               Participated in Initial Site Survey (Candidate selection according to nominal planning), Preliminary Site Survey (Coverage measurement, antenna position, azimuth selection, etc) and Technical Site Survey Report (Google Earth) preparation. Frequency Planning and Cell Design Data (CDD) Preparation using MCOM, NeXplorer and Mapinfo 9.0

·               Actively participated and guided others in Walk Test and Drive Test of IBS (In-Building Solution) Sites, Micro Sites and Macro Sites (including Single Site Check and Cluster Drive Test).

GrameenPhone Ltd., Dhaka: System Engineer (Commissioning & Operation; Switch) [Jan, 2000-Dec, 2000]

Responsibilities:

·               Commissioning, Installing, Calibrating, Monitoring the low capacity Microwave Radios, Base Stations, and the overall Base Stations activities. Combining the newly installed Base Stations into the entire Cellular Network (GSM based). Hardware and Software Configuration of the newly installed Base Stations and the Radio Networks from Central Monitoring Panel (by OSS and EMOS).

·               Installing software at different Base Station components, which include CDU (Combiner and Distribution Unit), ECU (Energy Control Unit), TRU (Trans-Receiver Unit), PSU (Power Supply Unit), DXU (Distribution Switch Unit), etc and Calibrating the hardware modules using software applications.

·               Troubleshooting and Maintenance of Base Station components (DXU, CDU, ECU, TRU, etc) and Radio equipments (ODU, IDU, Antenna etc.). Continuous Monitoring and Calibration of the Cellular Network from Central Monitoring Panel through OSS (Operation and Support System) using Exceed.
